Charlotte joined Kershen Fairfax in 2005, having started as an audit and accounts junior she worked her way up to a senior role whilst completing her studies, firstly obtaining Fellowship as a Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians and subsequently qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with the ICAEW.
Mentored by Andrew Kirshen, she assisted him in running his portfolio of large and varied clients for more than ten years. This gave her a wealth of knowledge and experience in all aspects of accounting and tax.
Charlotte’s drive, organisation and innovative spirit made her a natural leader in the firm. She is proud to have been instrumental to many of the changes that can be seen and felt in the Practice today. In 2019 she became a director of the firm allowing her the opportunity to fully demonstrate her leadership skills and start the next chapter of her career at Kershen Fairfax.
As a general practitioner Charlotte is well versed in all areas of accounting services from bookkeeping, VAT and payroll through to statutory accounts and both personal and corporate tax. Specialising in small company start-ups and accounts for SME’s she is an advocate for women in business and this is an area she is actively pursuing through local and regional business networks.
Charlotte has built the trust and loyalty of her clients by recognising their individual needs and providing them with a service catered to both their personality and their requirements. Her warm character, attention to detail and commitment further cements this relationship.
In her spare time Charlotte likes to escape the big smoke of London to return to her sleepy little village in Kent where she and her wife enjoy walking in the countryside with their dog Nymeria.
