Andrew Kirshen

Andrew is our managing Director and has been in general practice for over forty years having qualified as a chartered accountant in 1975 following the completion of his articles at Kershen Fairfax.

He has a broad range of experience on all aspects of professional accountancy work, from advising on one man start-ups to the audit of fully quoted public companies. Andrew’s main focus is to clearly define his clients’ aims, both in monetary terms and working lifestyle, and then advise on the steps needed to achieve their aspirations, by careful management of their financial affairs. This approach relies heavily on his detailed knowledge of corporate and personal taxation, management accounting and commercial business strategies.

He treats all of his clients as members of the Kershen Fairfax family and strives to help them meet their goals. Andrew is principally involved in advising owners of SME’s to assist them to extract the maximum benefits. He is involved in several other commercial ventures, both on an executive and non-executive basis. He believes that the experiences gained from being at the sharp end enables him to understand the day to day problems of running a business and to provide solutions.

A keen golfer and football supporter, Andrew lives in Northwood with his wife and  two of their four children, who have not yet flown the nest.
